Do any of you use these? Just googled and there seams to be a mine field of them.
is there any that you reccomend?

i use iGoogle for mine (not that i'm really into RSS or anything) but it sticks them in convenient panels and stuff. i get job alerts, sport, news - that kind of stuff.

Yep, Google Reader for me to.

There are also a couple of Greasemonkey scripts you can get to scan any page for RSS feeds you just press a couple of buttons to subscribe to.

I love RSS, it is a really good way for keeping up with a wide variety of websites.

(BTW for sites without RSS feeds you want to watch there is a Firefox plugin called Update Scanner, which scans designated webpages for changes. Also good)

I use a website called Netvibes. Or if i'm at work I use a nice little app called "Klipfolio".

Netvibes (cos it's web based) lets me check all my web/pop email accounts. Whereas, since I use Klipfolio at work, the firewalls don't let me check my emails. So I find it handy having both.

Cheers for the responces i ment programs, is there any that are standalone.
But yeah if theres some good feeds then let us know

Why'd you want a program taking space on your computer, slowing it down when you could use Google Reader and have your RSS feeds accessible on any computer and with Google's usual great searching features?

You sound like me 6 months ago.
RSS are internet feeds so it makes sense to display them in your browser eg Google Reader.
However the one I was using just before Google Reader was a Firefox plugin called WIZZ RSS reader https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/424
