Rsync

Hi,

I'm wondering if you would help me in getting a Rsync to backup my User home folder onto my external drive and have it schedule to run every 2 days. I did use Time machine but I don't really want that as If I lose Mac OS at least I have my photography and documents on a external drive and Nas box.

In the end I decided to use Time Machine on an external disk for local backup and I'm using Arq to backup to Amazon S3 for an off site backup. This way I'm covered should my local disk/MBP ever get stolen.

I use an old version of Carbon Copy Cloner, it's excellent.
