RT-N56u network storage issue

Bit of a weird one but i'ts bugging me like mad.

I have a 1.5tb drive USB connected into my RT-N56 and every time I open explorer, it is slowly filling up more and more. I wouldn't mind if I was genuinely filling it but i have added nothing to it yet.

Anybody else experiencing this? Or found it and worked around it?
 
Yeah had that. Plug it in to the PC, you'll find a massive log file. Delete it and make a new one that's read only. I also turned of anything under USB Application> Miscellaneous setting. Worked for me.
 
Awesome, have tried exactly what you said. Couldnt find a "log" file as such but there was a full 1tb file which i couldn't open so deleted it and left alone.
 
I had various issues with storage attached to my asus as well. I just connected it to my PC that I almost never turn off and shared the drive on the network so I no longer have the issue.
