Hey all,
I have recently purchased a Asus RT-N66U. Now, I have been configuring it, but I seem to have hit a wall.. or at least I'm stuck.
I want both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs to be the same, so that logging on to the network involves 1 option. The UI allows me to do this, in fact, there was an option to "copy settings to 5GHz", or words to that effect.
All is well, when I scan for Wi-Fi networks I see the single SSID in a list.
Now, the problem is, despite my iPhone being an N device, there is no activity on the N traffic monitor page, and the 5GHz light remains solid on the router (indicating there is no activity).
Any advice? I don't have other hardware that is N capable, and there is no way to see from the iPhone what band I am on.
All the default wireless options are turned to 5GHz, which makes it more confusing.
