RTS anything but SC2

Hi all, looking for a fairly competitive online rts, im pretty over starcraft already, anything else out there with a half decent competitive scene or atleast multiplayer?
 
Still quite a lot of people playing Company of Heroes - worth a look if you've not tried it and fancy something less idiot centric than sc2
 
Age of Empires 3 + Warchiefs expansion + Asian Dynasties expansion

Features up to 8 players, 3 resources, homecity shipments/upgrades, 200 population limit and allows people like to me to wipe the floor with 99% of people.
Still playing after 5 years.

StarCraft 2 would bore me in 5 minutes.

i agree with above.company of heroes is excellent online and had a healthy number of players last time i was online. Is dawn of war 2 any good online does anyone know?

Takes a little while to get a game sometimes, probably as there are less players out there compared to when it was released. However there are some out there still (I'm one of them). Otherwise it's great fun, not too serious I find, which is why I prefer it over SC2

Second AOE3 and its 10p!
 
Left CoH for DoW2, left DoW2 for Starcraft! :D (although have currently left that for BlackOps)

Personally Company of Heroes is the best RTS since AoE2, until the dodgy expansions started being released that is...
