I'm looking at upgrading my GTX 970 to something more up to date. My monitor is 24 inch with 1920x1200 resolution, which I'm happy to stick with for gaming. I will be looking to add a second 24 inch with the same resolution at some point, or maybe even getting a 27 inch 1440p to pair with my current one, so a bit of future proofing is required, just in case.
I have also been looking at the 2060/2060 Super and 2070 cards, but after having a quick look at benchmarks, the 2070 Super seems the best card and it'll allow me to get a 27 inch 1440p screen too at some point. I'm not really bothered about having game settings on ultra etc etc, but high would be nice at 1440p.
It will be paired with an i5 6600k, I guess this wouldn't cause any issues? and I'd like to have the card able to play games at a reasonable frame rate/quality for the next 3-4 years (kind of like the 1080's are doing now).
The 2070 Super is more than I'd usually want to spend, but hopefully being able to get £100 for my 970 and the Modern Warfare code makes it around £380. I also want to stick with nVidia! Finally, are there any recommended 2070 Super's, I.e. Which is considered good for low noise/good cooling?
Any help is appreciate, as I am out of the loop! Thank you.
