Hi All,

So i've just purchased a RTX 2080TI for my rig an upgrade from the 1080. 2080TI coming tomorrow :)

Question i have is my 1080 needed x1 8 pin cable to power, however the RTX needs x2 8 pins.

i have a 1000w psu and i have loads of extra cables from what came with the system (built by OCUK)

I've installed GPU's etc in past but never needed more than 1 cable?

do i simply put a extra cable in to the red VGA slot (theres loads of red VGA ones on my psu and that's it? or is there something else i need to do?

Thanks in Advance

Yep that’s it. Don’t use the same cable for both connections as some have another 8-pin connector on the same cable.
