Hi all,

I've noticed that my stock frequency should be 1755, it is currently set to 1350.

I've downloaded numerous overclocking programs such as Afterburner / Precision and tried to up this, and it allows me to change the bar to go up / down however the 1350 never seems to change when I click save. I've done some googling and found out this could be a BIOS issue? Can anyone shred some light and help me get this thing up to speed?

Is there not a way you can manually overclock this higher, to keep it at a certain speed or raise it above the boost frequency? It seems to not want to move from 1350

Yes you ned to find an overclocking guide to show you properly but you basically increase the core and memory clock.

1350 is base clock its boost clock that is the key.

If your boost clock is 1350 then thats an issue.

Thank you for the reply, however my problem is when I attempt to overclock this (Increasing the core), it does not move from 1350. Please see attached picture, no matter what I change the 'Clock' to, it stays 1350. (I can't see the image not sure if you can, right click and open in new tab :)

Download msi afterburner and look at frequency speeds when idle and under load or gaming.

Here is an overclocking guide.

I'll take a look at that, however I was using MSI Afterburner previously before Precision.

Even on MSI Afterburner, when I change the clock speeds the dial at the top changes (To show it's going up), however the speeds still only show 1350 on the dash. (I know how to get it to overclock), the problem is it doesn't seem to change regardless of what I change :/

I dont no the answer to that but the quide may help you if you've missed a setting.

Hopefully someone here does :( A lot of forum posts about this are regarding the Bios of the card potentially, not sure if I should raise this directly with MSI or not, I'll see if anyone else has any information

try using display driver uninstaller to completely removed the current nvidia drivers then restart and reinstall the lastest drivers. If that don't help then you could re-flash the bios if you know how :)

I've literally just completely refreshed windows, so that wouldn't be the issue unfortunately! I was going to look at flashing the bios, but I don't know where to find the bios for my specific card (Can't seem to find it online) Thank you though

Contact msi directly and explain what is happening and they maybe able to supply you with the Vbios.
