RTX 3060Ti to RTX 4070 worth it?

I am thinking of a GPU upgrade without too much of an outlay. Dont really push the current card too hard to be fair as its only used for BF1 and 4k video file playback. I will probably push the new card a bit harder with Delta Force so that's my reasoning.

Would it be worth the step to the 4070 or better off waiting for the 5000 series ?

Looks like a 30-40% uplift in most games. Only you can decide if that's worth it.

Since the 4060 Ti barely improved at all from the 3060 Ti, this is like an in-generation upgrade and they're usually poor value.

As a fellow 3060Ti owner I wouldn't bother unless you're getting a particularly good deal.

I would say 4070Super minimum, that would be approx 3090 level so a decent upgrade if you're itching.

I am itching but dont need the card until Delta Force gets released so can resist.

I went 3060ti to 4070 Super, if I was you now I'd wait.
