WHen i change powerplan to fullperformance i am getting 19.000 points. I have newest nvidia drivers. Any ideas?

mine is even lower than yours. All stock.

16 755 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090(1x) and Intel Core i9-10900X X-series

Why on reviews there are 20.000 in timespy graphic score?! ALso port royal 58fps.Score 12,500

on a stock 2080ti, i9 9900k (no overclocks at all) I get 38.7fps and 8,372 score on port royal.
Sounds like you are looking at OC results, not sure though...

Ahh right, just realised you posted just the GPU score. I get 19500 ish in that. Yeah your card is under performing. you got the correct BIOS setting for your PCIe lanes? Gen3 or Gen4 rather than Auto?

with overclock

"Don't think this is just a Gigabyte thing. With my Palit GamePro 3090, there's a 1000-point Timespy gap between Balanced and High power settings."

I have the MSI 3090 Gaming X Trio, and was slightly put out by performance (well, 3dMark TimeSpy score).

Originally as shipped in my new build PC, I was getting about what you say for GPU score, around 19k. I have spent considerable time tweaking, benching, tweaking, rinse repeat ... and the best I've now posted is 21,002. But that's with the side of the case open, all fans manually on max, and using an OC setup that's somewhat unstable, and crashes out of DX11 games (including FireStrike) ... so not how you'd actually want to run it.

If you're interested in the above settings, it's +220MHz on boost clock, and +1220MHz on memory. And I'm also using the less-silent flavour of the card's BIOS (https://www.msi.com/Graphics-Card/support/GeForce-RTX-3090-GAMING-X-TRIO-24G), depending on what your card is, you might investigate if there's new firmware for it that might help.

More realistically, and more stable, I tend to run it around +175 and +1000 MHz (boost/memory), and with the fans on auto and side panel on, I'll think I get around 20k. So a bit better than yours, but a difference probably accounted for in just the OC settings I run.

Hope that helps, let us know if you have any luck getting better numbers out of it.
