RTX 4070 to an old Asus VG278HE

I have been using an old Asus VG278HE monitor for years. It has VGA, DVI and a HDMI port. I have been looking to pick up a Nvidia RTX 4070 and would like to know if I am likely to come up against any problems if I buy a displayport to DVI cable? I know I can simply go HDMI to HDMI but I would like to keep the HDMI port free for console use.... if possible. Speaking of which connection would be the best for quality?

You're good to go with the DP to DVI, just make sure the cable you get is dual link DVI
