Morning,
JUst had a delivery of the Palit Gamerock 4080 to replace a 2060 Super.
I'm confused by the different power cables and what to do. I currently have 8 pins (4 sets of 2) and the Palit comes with a 12 pin.
Any help would be appreciated!

It should have come with a 3x 8-pin to 1x 16-pin (12+4) adapter.

Will be fine with that psu unless it's faulty or old.
You should have another adaptor in the gpu box that will allow you to connect your psu to the gpu.

You could just buy the proper Corsair modular cable if you don't have an adapter. I use one of these: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...e-4-psu-power-cable-cp-8920284-ca-272-cs.html and it works fine. Just make sure the GPU end is properly seated.

I have an EVGA 650w G2 Supernova PSU with 2 VGA outputs to two 6+2 pin connectors with a 6 pin pigtail on each. Will the 3x8 pin 12VHPWR on a 4080 Super work with just two 6+2 pin connectors? If not can I just plug the 6 pin pigtail into the third connector? I don't load the system as I am using a 5800X3D (undervolted) on a MSI B450M Mortar motherboard with a couple of NvME, 1 x SATA, 32GB DDR4, Arctic Freezer Pro 240 CPU cooler and a few USB peripherals.
