I got my Palit Gaming Pro on Thursday and while I was impressed with the card physically and sound/temps were all good I found the performance to be a little lackluster. It seemed to score below average on the 3d mark benches and was pulling below 250w and boosting to around 2650mhz
I hadn't done any Nvidia overclocking for years so I searched and the easiest to follow info I found was from this guy.
He gave 3 different profiles to try a balanced sort of one, full power and efficiency.
I went straight for full power and got the card boosting to around 3200mhz I got a couple of benches completed this way but it wasn't game stable so I lowered the boost to 3150mhz and it's stable now runs at just over 3100mhz in game and pulls 290-297W.
I'm pretty happy with it overall but tempted to see if the game rock 320w vbios would work on my card as I'm pretty sure I'm power limited.
Just wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else wanted offer any tips or do the same.
Cheers
Scott
