RTX 5080 - triple 4k @ 60fps??

Hi folks,

quick question. would a rtx 5080 coupled with an 9800x3d be able to hit 60fps at 4k on a triple screen setup?

looking at sim racing on Forza, AC Evo, WRC, etc.

My 3080 can do 1440p at medium settings using DLSS but I want to get up to 4k even with DLSS.

Will probably depend on how well each game is optimised and whether they have dlss.

I'm running a dual uhd screen with a 5080 and get ok performance in most games between 60 and 90 ish fps.

Obviously you will be running the equivalent of an extra 4k screen though so might struggle with vram.

3 x 4k has roughly 2.25x more pixels than 3 x 1440p... So expect perhaps half the performance IF you'll have the vRAM and the card can actually power that many pixels.

If you do it, you should wait for the 5080 super with more VRAM.

Or get a 4090.

With frame gen it should be relatively easy although it might not look too pretty.

I already have 3 x 55" 4k screens that I've been using and to be able to use those I think I'll go with a 5090 instead of the 5080. cheers
