RTX and DLSS, its worth the hype

I haven't seen DLSS 2, but certainly DLSS 1 was poopy for me.

I do always enjoy it when somebody accuses somebody else of being a fanboy in the middle of having a little strop about the big meanie poopoo heads who once said something bad about their favourite corporation. If you've ever thought Hardware Unboxed are biased one way or another, you're part of the problem.

It is overrated IMO but my experience is only with Cyberpunk. I think it’ll be better as it matures, though.

RTX does look good, but the hit to FPS is silly, it makes a 3090 a barely-capable 1080p card in some cases.

DLSS is not as good as native, especially <4k 'output resolution', but it is still hugely impressive.

If DLSS was purely used as a crutch for crappy low end graphics cards then great. If the cards were actually capable of RTX performance several multiples of what we have today that'd be great. But alas we are where we are

That's because the nVidia crew need to convince everyone it's must have tech (only because they have it and AMD don't). And before I get lynched, I have a 3090 but I don't use RTX or DLSS. Tried RTX on Cyberpunk but wasn't blown away, my VRAM temps were though If GPUs were more readily available, I'd take a 6900 XT over a 3090.
