Morning all strange one this not sure whats happening. Since installing MusicBee. Now playing music in wasapi mode music sounds great but if i playing music out of MusicBee my Ruarks make a strange popping noise even when i play movies via plex the noise is still there i would put it down to the speakers but with it not doing it in MusicBee im not sure what the problem maybe. Not sure if its windows 7 conflict or interference but checked all cables and they seem fine any ideas? thanks

Yes. I have now find the cause if i have my playback device set to 24 bit 9600Hz in windows that is what was causing the issue if i drop it to 24 bit 44Hz the problem has now stopped but my DAC is 24/96 so i would have thought that would be the setting to use?

Im sure i had the sample rate set to 96KHz before i installed MusicBee if i have 96KHz and WASAPI mode set in MusicBee its fine if i DirectSound it pops even playing music outside of MusicBee i have my RS165's headphones connected to my headphone jack on my soundcard wonder if that could be the issue? The soundcard is just onboard

Im starting to think its a DAC problem or setting somewhere it happens when i close MusicBee if i play music or any sound like via youtube or movies via plex the only way it resolves is going from 9600KHz to 4400KHz but before i installed MusicBee im certain my settings was 24 bit 9600KHz due to my DAC been 24/96. But if i use WASAPI mode with 24 bit 9600KHz it sounds fine no popping but thats only in MusicBee of course

Hmm, strange things are afoot at the circle k.

Without uninstalling Musicbee to see if that has any positive impact, then you could just stick with 44kHz. Do you hear any difference between 44 and 96?
Finally found the issue well im hoping lol. I changed to a different USB connection and it seems to have now gone but its funny i changed from one to another cause of the issue but 24/96 seems to be fine now im not sure if ill have to update the 2 usb ports or there was a conflict cause i have a usb hub in 1 of the usb ports to give me extra usb slots

Yes i would have thought so to. But the 2 USB i had to buy sep when i had the pc built due to not having many so maybe there not as powerful to drive 96KHz im not really that computer savvy when it comes to the components
