Rubbish with Excel, need a simple spreadsheet please!

Hi, if anyone who knows their way around Excel would be so kind as to do me a very simple spreadsheet, I will throw them a cookie. What I need is something very simple to keep track of earnings on a daily basis. So one column with dates, starting yesterday and going to the end of the year. Another column where I can put daily earnings, the caveat there being I need whatever I enter in the daily earnings column to automatically knock 40% off and display the result. And last column is a running total. Sounds simple, but I'm as proficient with Excel as a hamster peeling a grapefruit.

Im sure someone will post along with a spread sheet, but to do it yourself (for next time) just have the formula

"=A1*0.6" with A1 being the daily earnings.
