I'm tired of carrying my laptop around in the usual shoulder bag, so I'm fancying a rucksack. Price isn't really an issue, although I'd like it to be under a hundred quid.
Laptop is a Dell XPS 17"

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Cheers! :)

I have got an animal rucksack that I use for school, it has a "Wet pocket" on the back for if you go swimming I guess? that bit is flat(ish) pocket so it would be ideal for a laptop! Quite big though, was about £40 I believe, can't find a link to it though, sorry mate!

Should fit a 17" Laptop in, just shows that you can find these sort of things anywhere! :D

I use the belkin slim 17":

Fits a 17.3" machine nicely (I used to have an acer 7738G), it's got a very nice profile just know that it wont hold masses of stuff. Notebook + charger etc + a couple of days of clothes + documents.

i go though rucksacks fairly quickly as they tend to go everywhere with and im also a wheelchair user so they get a hard. the one i have in use right is by far the best ive ever had. It gets bonus points for not looking like a laptop bag as im sure you can imagine id be a really easy target.

Its an Oakley AP pack 3.0 and i havent managed to kill yet. this is the one i own but in black. they pop on ebay now and again

I Use The Belkin Slim Too,

It is a bit more of a target for thieves as it does kind of resemble a laptop bag as its very slim, indicating you don't have a lot of books but probably an expensive laptop =/

That Oakley looks pretty good wriggley!

I have a Targus Essential Laptop Backpack, that was only £13 in Tesco.

But it won't break despite being over 3 years old, it is used daily, and also stuffed full when its been taken on dozens of flights.
