Well after years of promising to take me to a league game, my other half has booked us two tickets to the world club challenge at Elland Road.

She's been watching the Rhinos for years, I on the other hand am used to the Kop at Bramall Lane and mucho swearing/abuse of Piggies at Hillsborough.

I can just about bear going to Elland Road but my real question is... what should I expect from my first league game?

Well my experience of league so far has been listening to a few games on the radio and watching a few on sky - they've certainly sounded exciting enough to make me want to go. Same for union really.

I've just picked up on the rules as I've gone along, some are obvious but I've had to ask the missus about some of the more detailed ones - as I said she's been watching the Rhinos for years.

I'll be sure to take some antibacterial wipes for the seat before I sit down though.

I'll just have to wait and see, a couple of people I've spoken to have said after their first league game they vowed never to watch football again - some others said they could take or leave it.

One word....

Amazing!!

Far far better than any football match I've ever been to. A proper, real honest game with a fantastic atmosphere and great crowd.

Seats 78/79 Row C in the lower south stand. So 3 rows back from the pitch, right behind the sticks.

Couldn't see a damn thing when Leeds scored up the other end but had a perfect view of Sinfield kicking the drop goal and penalty.

Last thursday was great, except for the £40 taxi home from Leeds.

Listening to Hull FC/Leeds on R5 now :)

Watching the Leeds match last night on Sky and when Cha,bers was mentioned we all looked at each other... eh?

Just booked tickets for Leeds-Wigan next saturday :)

I'll be there. Can't see us getting much though. Leeds are too strong atm and are in great form.

Someone's got to beat them sometime though. I claim to be no expert as it's only my third attendance but my 100% record has to go sometime too ;)

Indeed ;)

Although Wigan didn't beat Leeds, the referee did.
