Rugby union?

I have to say I thought the penalty try was dubious I'd love to get a referee to explain that one to me because it wasn't what you'd call a classic pull down of the maul. The maul broke and the player in front of the ball carrier and Genge were grappling and both went sideways and fell. I wasn't clear why that was only Gene's fault, he certainly wasn't targetting legs. I'd have called it one of those classic maul ends in a muddle scenarios. I think that happens anywhere but within 5m of the try linea nd teh referee calls play on.

Anyway despite their defensive frailties England look a different team playing at tempo and a team that suits many of their players strengths.

Agree with you on that, I forgot about it. Goes to show if we had a couple more of the conversions might have edged it. Ramos' excellent ratio mattered in the end.

In case no one has seen it; Scott Hasting's family announced his passing over the weekend:

As an Englishman, his names sent shivers down my spine back in the late 80s/early 90s. A great player from a gifted family of players.

RIP.
