hey guys... I have an akasa eclipse case; being a clumsy fool i have managed while using my headset plugged into the front usb port, to step on the cable near the case, which had the effect of pulling the headset plug down and out - which pulled the small plastic connector off the metal strips.

I have done this to both ports (on separate occasions) after much cursing and thinking to myself 'better watch out for that in future'

is there anything i can do to fix it, maybe a replacement front usb housing thingy ???

Contact Akasa and see if they can supply you with what you need ? Might be worth sending them a polite e-mail. They can only say no or offer to sell you the bits you need for a small cost. Either way manners costs you nothing :)

You'll get no joy out of Akasa. I busted the front usb ports on my eclipse about 18 months ago. emailed them to see if I could get a replacement but they said they couldn't get them anymore. :(

I've ended up putting the USB pci bracket supplied with one of the gigabyte boards I had in the front of the case as an alternative.

I e-mailed Akasa about breaking my front usb door, all they could offer me was a new front of the case. Was going to cost about £13, not bad I thought, then another £13 delivery plus vat on top.
