as long as they don't know of your defeat you still hold the upper hand, just go outside and saw through some wood, then nail said wood onto something, then drill a screw into it and hang your utility belt on it.

trust me their pants will dampen :p

For added effect, make yourself a new spanner rack. Hammer a load of nails into a block of wood, then hang one spanner on each nail

Too late, they know i have failed by the cursing.

The other give away was me ringing the mechanic in the village and asking him to come up.

-12 man points, do not go past go and collect freshly made dinner.

Instead of banging screws maybe divert your attention to the wife, she will soon forget about your failure in the barn, you can't fail twice in one day ;)

Her and the dynamic duo of mates have all left to look at yet another ML 63 for her, this will be the 5th one shes looked at.

So i cant even have a recreational **** now ;)

The day has been a disaster, i should have stayed in bed.

I was once so inept at these things a simple job blossomed into rage and I'd boot my nice shiny body panels when it all went wrong, making the job that much more expensive and feeling like a complete plonker afterwards.

Have been on the verge of seeking pro help to make my inept abilities less demanding on the rage button but I seem to just laugh at myself now. Last time was my MX5s wheel bearing. The inner race was not coming off and there was no leverage to be had with a puller... so out came the angle grinder, a chisel and a BFOH to rememdy the solution. I think I shouted something along the lines of "Have that you 'barstool'!" and threw it away with all my might only for it to glance of the dogs head. He wouldn't come near me for a few hours but hey, I owned that bearing good and proper!

ml63, no mark, nooooooooooooooo

do you realise what that will result in?

women and large 4x4 should not be combined, encouraged, allowed etc...

no man no

nooooo

She is adamant matey, theres no turning back :)

The first one she saw was the best, but she ended up arguing with the bloke over 700 quid, in the end she annoyed him so much he refused to sell her the car.

Since then shes seen 3 scabby ones and now this is the 5th.

oh dear god, i hope she doesnt actually have a license and is just going to amble around your vast estate with a minature plough in tow rotivating your flower beds?

only this morning I watched a bird in an x6 knock a bloke off his bike, totally oblivious to this 6" 3 chap. She just drove off leaving all the men to actually acknowledge his existance and help him. Despite there being no harm to him or his steed I felt obliged to catch up with her on the A3 and reward her with some helpful sign language. unfortunately due to her being a woman she had no concept or idea that there are infact any other cars on the road so completely ignored me. Quite what goes through a womans head (apart from fresh air) when they drive is a mystery to me, I swear they all got their licenses in special promotional packs of special K

but like the murpheys I wasn't bitter

See now my wife would say he should have been more careful where he was riding in that situation :)

Will going off on why women shouldn't drive, one would think you've been rammed from behind or something.... :p

Ah - is it a long way recessed. EEk.

Chemical metal it would have to be then.

Could be, you have the recessed issue, then with a Torx bit unless you cut the head right down through the far edges you actually have nothing solid to turn a screwdriver against.
