Rules restaurant Covent Garden

My mother is travelling from the lake district to spend her 70th birthday with me in Woking :-)

For her birthday evening i've booked us into Rules. Looks like a lovely place and the English menu will suit my mother perfectly - anyone been before?
I'm keen to here what you thought of it!!

Been a few times myself absolutely superb service was fantastic ,food was awesome and IMO reasonably priced for what you got..

Had a number of excellent meals in there. One of my favourites.
