Direct conversion would put the Rift and Touch at just below the price for the HTC Vive - although I think it's more likely we'll be paying at least the same price.

The Oculus Touch is seamlessly supported by the Steam SDK.

All current Steam VR games can be played with the Oculus Touch as far as I'm aware.

We're literally talking £10 for the wall mounts and USB extensions required.

The flat base detaches from the camera via a standard tripod mount / screw.

I do agree it's barrier for the user but again, regardless of Oculus first party approach to their game development, users will have access to the entire steam VR catalog.
