Is it possible to run 2 instances of Windows on one workstation at the same time? I realise there's VirtualPC but can I actually use a Windows installation from a disk through it or does it have to be through VirtualPC? Also I have an issue with my VirtualPC, I made a new virtual machine but it hangs on loading up at DHCP?

You'd need to virtualise to get to instances running concurrently.
Second thing, don't use VPC. Get either virtualbox or VMware, they're much better products.
