i have built a server, running FreeNAS 8.0.2. (might move to ubuntu soon)
i insist on turning it off overnight which means that the server is running 12 hours a day.
My questions are:
If i run the server for 12 hours a day, how much will this cost per year?
i am assuming this is double if i have 24 hours...
Spec is:
FreeNAS 8.0.2
2x1GB DDR2-667
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ AM2 2.13GHz Dual-Core
250W PSU
1 DVD-RW
2x 160GB SATA HDD
its basicly a upgraded Packard Bell iStart 2311
