Run exe on W10 in S mode, or disable S without internet access,

So is there a way to run an exe on a windows 10 machine in S mode

OR

a way to get a S mode machine out of S mode without internet access

really frustrating issue!

To get it out you need to upgrade via the Microsoft store app so you'll need a internet connection, once you've upgraded it you could disable internet access again.

As Glanza said, you will need the store to be able to get out of S mode and I dont think there is any other way around it.

From my understanding S mode does not allow you to install anything outside of the Microsoft store

Had to install an old wireless card in the laptop that w10 had the drivers built in for..

I guess I could have explained the issue better!

Possibly I could have tracked down a non exe'd version of the drivers...
