I'm using a work PC and as ever it's really restrictive in terms of what software can be installed. Is there any way round the admin rights thing for installing the likes of Teamviewer and Navisworks?

depends how its enforced, their always around security ;)

for example even in windows 10, you can get around some companies admin rights needed to install certain software by installing it your user area. (documents).... silly really

If there is a genuine work requirement for TeamViewer/Navis then why not just ask your IT bods to do the install for you, or are you trying to cirumvent your company's IT security policy for your own good? :D

How could I do that sneaky style?

Rohypnol :D,

Doubt it would prompt any alerts to a work admin. Are we talking games or something else here? A lot of games can be installed to local drives ie on a pen drive and then just booted from there without the need for install on other systems.

It is actually CAD software, Navisworks. I would like Teamviewer too.

Isn't Naviswork an autodesk program? if so then i am 99.9% sure you can run that locally without a direct install via a usb. I would recommend you test that at home. And as for TV that also has a none install lite version that may work instead. Other than this you may be able to use a exe encryption tool and hoax the file into thinking it's a photo or something similar for the exe. If you are unsure on how to do this if you can send me an exe il do it for you.

You do realise that if this is for work if you get caught it could be a disciplinary and possibly the sack? Take it you haven't read your IT policy? Just ask the techs to install or enable something for you if it's legit. If it's not then not sure why people would help you here to bypass security.

Tried the QS version of TeamViewer? It doesnt require installing as it just runs, you could leave it running before you go home for the day, taking note of the ID/Password as it doesnt change until it's next run
