On the morning of Sunday 23rd August, as shakedown run for us, prior to the ring trip the following week, my fellow ring raiders are organising a charity drive at "safe speed" to the Ace Cafe to promote car enthusiasts, car modifiers and cruisers as sensible and an important part of growing up as a petrol head. (chavs who do not know the meaning of the word "sensible" need not apply 
)
As a group who have worked in quite a few different media circles (top gear, scrapheap challenge, discovery channel etc) we think we can get some good coverage on it if we talk to the right people.
All proceeds will be donated to the Air ambulance.
How we think it will work:
It's a 200 mile round trip to the ace cafe from our HQ in Tewkesbury (Next to Powerstation).
The idea is each driver gets people to sponsor them a minimum 1p a mile . Ideally each driver will get 10 sponsors, so that raises £20
We'd like to get 100 drivers to join us, therefore raising £2k for the air ambulance!
