Run Windows apps in OSX...

Had a quick play.

Im at work at the moment so I didn't have access to officially support Windows Apps like Office.

I tried 3 unsupported ones - Winamp, FlashFXP and MSN Messenger.

Winamp worked no problems from what I could tell.

Flash FXP seemed to work.

MSN Messenger wouldn't even install as it said I needed Windows XP.

Using Winamp and Flash FXP felt like it wasnt running natively. Whether supported apps are "native" i dont know.
 
I had a quick play with IE6 and it seemed OK but a little prone to crashing (maybe not crossover's fault). I think at the moment I'll stick with Parallels for IE testing.

Stuppy, the apps are running natively in that they're not using an emulated CPU.
 
The apps still have that emulated feel though. And its not the Windows looks in Mac OS environment, they just feel like they are not running at their full pace

Crossover is still beta though. I would defo try it out when its a final release.
