RuneScape now on Steam

So I have heard of Runescape many times over the years but the graphics just seemed to rubbish to play ha.

Anyway there is a new version and it is on Steam.

It seems great because you are not restricted by class. I want to be some kind of archer but with swords also. Maybe. I dont know much about the game yet.

One annoying thing is the manual camera control.

There is some pay to win but I think it is also funded by subs.

Wow this brings back some memories.

There was a reason the graphics were "sub-par". Unlike other MMOs, RS prided itself in being able to play inside a browser, which meant that no user had to download the entire game to play it.

I understand they rewrote the entire code so that it could now be installed as a piece of software which paved the way for better graphics.
