at the moment i've got a bat file which I use to backup an svn repository everyday at a set time using windows task scheduler to run the bat file.

Now when the bat file runs the dos window pops up for around 1.5 - 2 seconds then goes. Is there any way to make the bat file run silently without the dos window as if i'm in a game or something it jumps back to the desktop.

do a search for cmdow.exe in google is only a little one file program and will do exactaly what you want.

@cmdow.exe @ /hid will hide the window from view

I've used it as part of cmdlines.txt for unattended windows installation but at T-12 when they get executed I see the windows flash up for a second.

Maybe it due to explorer.exe, as I'm not sure if it is running at T-12.
