Running 2 clients on 1 pc

SMP Client

Ok I have it installed and click teh .bat file and enter

account - Sheldon
Passwrd - Bobby
Confirm password - Bobby
now instead of getting

At the end of the install process, you should see two lines of output:
If you see this twice, MPI is working
If you see this twice, MPI is working


I get

Unable to connect to Sheldon-PC8676
Sock error:generic socket failure, error stack:
MPIDU_Sock_Post_Connect<1228>: Unable to connect to Sheldon-PC on port 8676, Exhausted all end points <errno -1>

Any ideas?

Do you have local accounts setup on that machine and one with those credentials?

You need to provide it with proper credentials, as Biffa says, it needs to be a local user account or any account that has admin access to that machine.

You also need to run that CMD console as an administrator before starting install.bat
