Hi folks, I'm in the process of building a new computer, I've got 3 monitors, all the same, how would I go about connecting them? I've been looking around for a while now and I'm getting more confused the more I look. Here's my hardware that il have...

3 x Samsung 23" monitors, either HDMI or vga connector NO dvi =(
1x GTX 680

I have 3 hdmi leads and loads of vga leads kicking about.

Cheers

It depends which 680, some have 3 mini HDMI ports some have DVI ports.

Either way all 3 monitors into the GPU not the motherboard.

Ooops, sorry, should have been more specific. On the card I have

*Display Connectors: 2x Dual-Link DVI-I, 1x HDMI 1.4a & 1x Displayport

What adapters would I need etc?
Thanks

Aaah thanks ever so much for that dude! I did think that, but kept reading conflicting reports on other sites, some saying I need active display adapters etc!

Thanks again!

That's only for AMD cards.

Yup. For the Nvidia 600 series it just needs to be any 3 digital outputs:

Previous Nvidia cards required the use of SLi, while AMD 5000+ series requires the third monitor or above to use the Displayport.

Blimey! I saw that on a site and thought that only dvi were digital that's where all my confusion has come from then! Sometimes I wonder how stupid I can get haha!
