My old modded Colorsound wah dates back to 197* and hence only has a battery connector, not a power socket to be seen.

I have a Boss PSA240 psu so I was wondering if there are any 9V/PP3 to psu jack connectors? I've done a quick search but can't seem to see anything. I'm looking to connect:

I suppose I could just remove the connector/lead from the wah pcb and replace it with a longer lead with a female psu connection on it? I think the power draw should be sufficiently small enough not to cook the psu..

It should bve pretty easy to make on yourself without messing up the battery connector on the pedal. You should be able to just solder one of those PP3 connectors to a female PSU connection then you could use batterys or the PSU. Must say I've never seen one for sale anywhere though.
I've never seen one either, that's why I was wondering if actually is *that* simple. A major components retailer (the red M one) has recently opened in Basingstoke so I think a serious lunchtime browse may be in order.. it's just too tempting to buy random stuff in there though :p

Be careful with polarity btw. The PSU should say either "tip positive" or "tip negative" or possibly "centre positive", "centre negative". Check with DMM tbh.
Yep, the psu has a sticker indicating polarity on it :)
