I meant help... But lol... I have been wanting to run a computer 24/7 for a while to host a few services and manage downloads between a few pcs on a network, will also be using the same box as a media pc...

Wondering which OS you reccommend... I'm thinking Windows Server 2003(x64)/2008(x64) or just XP... Not sure though, here's an overview on what i'll be running;

VNC
Ventrilo
Hamachi
Utorrent

And probably F@H somtimes

Any information on whats compatible with what would be appreciated.

for that XP will be fine

id get XP pro if you can because its got RDC built in. Then you can just leave it plugged into the router with a power lead and no keyboard / mouse and just administer it via terminal services

I've been running a small file server, download box and vent server (almost identical what you are going to use) for almost a year now 24/7.

I used Windows 2003 Server although probably next time or when I get round to re-building it I will use a Linux Distro as it will do everything my server currently runs.
