Running Bad co 2 in windowed (full-screen) mode?

Ok hi there folks,
Since im currently talking to one of the ea live chat technical support people, and it is getting me no where.

My question is this.
Im wanting to run the bad co 2 client in a windowed full-screen mode.
Now i know how to alternate between windowed (normal) and fullscreen modes
eg via alt+enter or the settings.ini.
However i cannot find an option for windowed (fullscreen) mode.

If anybody has played starcraft 2 you will know what i mean.

Notice i can have the start bar up and the game is perfectly aligned in fullscreen but windowed mode.

And on the battlefield client. the grey borders around the client window push the game out of the screen.

TLDR:
I want to make bfbc2 run like sc2's windowed(fullscreen) mode. how ?

Has to be an in-game option as far as I know. SC2 apparently has it, I know L4D 1 & 2 have the option, but I've not really seen it in any other games. A shame really, its really useful. Oh well.

You can remove it on some Steam games by adding -noborder -window as a launch shortcut, but on this it doesn't work

Some games can be back-engineered to do it through tools (like FO3 launcher) but typically this has to be pre-programmed in. It is extremely good though, especially if you have dual monitors. I figure Blizzard must have given all their employees dual monitors and they got annoyed alt tabbing constantly

It's in heroes of newerth too thinking about it so hopefully it's spreading.

It is a very nice feature to have. L4D/L4D2 has it and it's great. I just wish BC2 had it.

I do the same thing, a few times I've managed to pull the window so far up to the top of the screen that only one pixel line is visible of the box at the top, which made a big difference. The thing is, I have no idea how I did it, usually Windows wont let you hide the window like that, it usually snaps back to show the full bar. It also remembered the position between games, but stupidly I accidentally moved the box recently and again it's refusing to let me to pull it up there.

I turn Aero off when I play BC2, dunno if that has anything to do with it.
