Hi,
For my DT project i need to run some CCFL cold cathodes on mains power (it also has a sound controller in series)

anyway...

I had a look for molex 240v plugs... but couldnt find any in uk...

So what kind of plug would i need (link if possible :) ) and how would i connect it to the molex sound controller / cathodes???

We have all sorts of soldering irons etc... tht i could use in the DT dept.

Thanks!!

I'm not 100% certain but I think cold cathodes generally run at a much higher voltage than even mains (700+), so you'll need an inverter of some kind.

You could have course just hot wire an old PSU and use that to power them, a shuttle one or pico PSU + brick would be pretty small.
