Hi,

I have a pair of 7950 IceQ's, unfortunately one of the card is a stinker when it comes to memory overclocks. The max it will do irrespective of voltage adjustment is 1350.

Are there any benefits / disadvantages to unticking "Synchronise settings for similar graphics processors" in MSI afterburner, and running my 2nd card to it's full potential, 1550 on the memory?

Best regards,
Chris.

Benefits appear mostly in BM's where they are optimized and will use each gpu's scaling to it's best capabilities so it achieves higher scores.

In games, gpu utilization will reduce on the higher clocking card, whether it makes a difference or not is probably game dependent.
