Running COD2 in dx9 mode/GFX suggestions

Well....

I have a 7300gt zalman cooled and it runs cod2 in dx7 perfectly, however. It runs dx9 at 20-30fps...

Around £150 to spend, rather have nvidia cause of digital vibrance :D
