Running different RAM sticks on my laptop

I have 1 X 8GB DDR3 Samsung PC3-12800 ram in my laptop, would I have any issues if I added another 8GB DDR3 Crucial CT102464BF160B 8 GB DDR3 PC3-12800

I would imagine if they had similar timings then no. If they had different timings, they might clock down to a speed they can both operate at stably?
