Running Games Benchmarks (How Do I?)

Hi All,

Just received my 4870X2 machine and I would like to run some benchmarks for it. I have run 3D MArk 06 and Vantage, but would also like to benchmark games, though I'm having trouble working out how to run the benchmarks for the following games.

If you could le me know how to run the benchs that would be appriciated.

Grid ( Version from Steam)
Company of Heroes
Crysis
Battlefield 2
HL2 (Version from Steam)
Call of Duty 4

The easiest thing would probably to install Fraps. or are you looking for specific benchmarks so you can compare?
HL2 had one its is main menu, or was that CSS?
If you go into the Crysis folder, and then into 'bin32' it has 2 or 3 benchmarking batch files.
or have a look at http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17821009 and download the crysis benchmark tool.

Battlefield 2 and COD4 dont have build in bench marks, but you can use fraps to see your fps. Im unsure about the others.

if you just want to see your fps then use fraps
if you want to compare against other machines then use the built in benchmarks or record a demo then use timedemo's to run through the short demo you have made.

you may only have the option of using fraps on some games.
