running i5 2500k need adv on temps

hi i am running a i5 2500k oc to 4.3 an i just want to know if the temps are alright on it idle is 30 c and under load is 47 50 46 46 across all 4 cores so its around 48 c underload with all 4 core temps combined

are these temps alright

if those temps are at full load then they are really good, loads of headroom yet.

I think some peoples stock temps are higher than that

thoes are the temps i get when gaming i do use a h60 watercooler i just wanted to know if the temps where allright

Its probably best to run prime 95 along with RealTemp 3.69, just to make sure but the temps look good to me.

Mine is at 4.5 full load temps are 68C but i'm on air, for comparison.

what sort of vcore are you putting through the chip ?

as keyser says, download prime 95 and run that for a couple of hours and see how it goes.

Temps are lower than mine on stock by a good 10 degrees at load.

So what would be a safe maximum temp on an i5? When I use OC Genie it raises to around 70c which I am not relaxed about. Plus does anyone have issues where two cores are a few degrees above the others?

I am very jealous of those temps.

Mine's overclocked to 5GHz and under prime maxes out in the low 80s. Sits in the low 70s at full non-prime load though so doesn't bother me.

My new i5 is overclocked to 4.2 currently using the auto settings on the new graphical bios on my asrock z68 mobo.

Mines currently idles at 30 degrees using an H80 cooler but not sure what it goes up to under load.

Not sure but I'd certainly say keep away from the high 80's figures

It's best to keep them under 80c. Op you have plent yof headroom, what voltages are you using? Might be able to get it to 4.6ghz .
