Running multiple monitors from Laptop

I'm currently building a new home office in an out building at the back of my house.

I want to run 3 monitors from my Laptop and use each one as a separate work area.

My current work laptop is a fairly new Lenovo Ideapad win10 500S i5 8Gb RAM.

What are the practicalities of doing this?

The laptop only has 1 HDMI output and 3 USB 3.0 ports.

My thinking is that I would like to run 1 large 32-40" maybe 4k TV as the middle screen with 1 23" screen to either side. I would then run the Laptop shut.
I cant use a desktop as I am out 50% of the time visiting clients.

Does anyone do this?

How do I plug all this in?

Am I mad?

So I will need to run one from my HDMI and then the other 2 from USB ports?

There's a couple of USB-VGA adapters in my office. They work but... only for office use, really. It's an extra layer of gumf between you and the screen, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything framerate sensitive on them.

Is there a docking station for your laptop? Can you get a laptop with displayport for daisy chaining? Do you really need a laptop, or would a desktop suit you better? (You seem to have a large budget, so it's worth asking )

Hi thanks for the info. A desktop is out of the question as I visit clients and need to use the same device everywhere.

I could buy a better Laptop I suppose or just steal one from one of my staff. I will see if anyone is using one with a displayport. Does this make it really easy to do what I need to do.

The more I am reading up on it I think the 4K TV as a monitor is going to need to go as it dont think I will get the performance out of my machine.
(It has onboard Intel 520HD graphics)

I may just do 3 1080p monitors.
