I'm just wondering if it's safe to do this, this actually applied to both my PC's, one running X3350 and other a 4870k, the 4870 actually exceeded this at 96degrees c and I seen the clocks lower, however manually raising the CPU fans prevented it going above TJ. Max... just!
The Xeon was running higher than TJ. Max, computer still on and it wasn't throttling! I reduced voltage from 1.42 to 1.33, seems to be running stable at 3.4GHz and it sits at 85 degrees at load.
