We have started to store a lot more files on the server than we were previouslly and its filling up fast!! Well fast for us, probably not for some people.

Anyway were down to about 8Gb of storage left on the HDD and obviously we'll need to look at increasing it as it would probably only last us 6 months or so.

Can anyone recommend some ways of doing it? I know the cheapest would be to add in an external drive whereas the opposite end would be to add in a whole new set of drives which are currently set up as RAID I believe.

Thanks.

What server?

How much mail data do you have? If it is a lot you can chuck in a new pair of mirrored disks and move your exchange store and free up space, or conversely leave it on the OS partition and move your data out.

Don't use an external drive, adding new drives assuming you have free ports and putting a new mirror on it is not difficult nor has to affect your current RAID volumes.
