I have an old 450watt "Win power" PSU which I got with a budget PC 5-6 years.
I need to run a couple of fans, so I thought I would be able to do the old paperclip trick to get it running by itself, which worked.
However, the fan inside is very loud and I was wandering if the fan actually needs to be on at all... the only things connected to it would be 2-4 120mm fans so I wouldn't think it should create much heat.
What do you guys think?
