Running Remote Desktop Program Via USB Device?

I am wondering if you can install the Remote Desktop Connection software on a usb device (Pen drive, thumbdrive,). Reason for this is I would like to connect to my office or house where ever I am via Remote Desktop software ?

Do i just copy the Remote Desktop files over on to the pen drive or something?

You must be intending to use it on old systems e.g. Windows 98 then?

Yeah the computer at work has windows 2000 on it hence i need to put it on a tick if it can be done?

If you are able to install software on it then just download this:

Take it there's no way of installing that to the usb stick then?
