Hi all, do today has been spent building a basic (more a test bed) Windows 2008 R2+Citrix XenApp 6 virtualised box running on a Citrix Server (4GB+Quard core).

It runs great & i have a few random apps streaming off to a Citrix receiver login

BUT i have installed Sabnzbd & not sure if i should place the incomplete(temp) & complete store on a my 2TB NAS drive? I have ran it with incomplete(temp) on the server & complete on the NAS but a 50GB file took forever to copy accross. This is over 10/100.

Im guessing running it all on the NAS would make sense, my internet runs at 4.5 MB/s.

I'm not sure its quite that straight forward because you will take a hit at the uncompresing stage that way. The data will have to be read back from the NAS (temp) decompressed and then written back to the NAS (complete) so your possibly introducing even more of a wait.
