Hey, silly question but currently i have virgin cable and aol (until the 23). Although right now i cannot use virgin as i dont have an ethanet port on my 3 year old pc and have had to order a network card so i can plug it in lol.

Tomorrow i will be able to use cable i hope if the network card turns up. This may be a silly questuon but would it be possible to run both internet connections at the same time and would it be possible to use them for differnt things on hte same pc or even join them together for a better internet speed?

Thanks.

No not really. You could get a dual WAN router which will allow you to load balance connections, but this will not give you the combined speed. If you downloaded 2 files at the same time though, then that would (theoretically) put one out on both connections.

You can also botch together a PC to use for load balancing purposes, but for 10 days of use, you'd just be wasting your time.
